On Thursday 23 August, Rooms 2,3 and 5 went to the Police Headquarters and St John's Ambulance Service. The purpose of the trip was to learn more about our topic 'Communication'. Room 3 and half of Room 5 went to the St John Ambulance Service first, while the rest of Room 5 and Room 2 went to the Police Headquarters. All of the equipment looked really interesting. At the Police Headquarters there was a special computer that if you type in your address, you can see your house. At the St John Ambulance Service there was a room called The Fishbowl where you can see the staff taking emergency calls. In between the two trips we had lunch by the Christchurch Garden Fountain. Then we walked to the Botanical Gardens for a play!
